The idea of FoUnd soUL* itself is the moment where you've connected to something deep within yourself. It's all the times you felt at one with nature or the universe, or when you discovered a piece of yourself you never knew you lost. It's all the epiphanies and revelations you've had, especially at the time you needed them the most. It's the time you found real clarity or discovered a core value that aligned with who you truly are. These are the realizations that came to you in a moment of peace or after feeling like you had been "dragged through the mud." These are all deep understandings and awareness that cannot be taken away from you. These are all moments you had Found soul*.
My hope is to help you discover and become more aware of these FoUnd soUL* moments and have more magic in your life... have more fulfillment, more achieved goals, and ultimately, more successes that align with your true happiness while being compassionate to others and the nature that surrounds.
I had reached a point in my life where I just wasn't happy; who I was, what I was doing day to day, where life seemed to be heading...you name it. While I wasn't depressed, I did feel an overwhelming feeling of discontentment, and I was just as confused as ever about basically everything.
Eventually, it dawned on me that anything I wished to create and be significant would never have wings to successfully fly until I truly created some clarity, inner peace, alignment, and deeper understanding for myself. Instead of fear and worry being my catalysts, I needed to be able to look out across the horizon and feel eager for what was to come, letting that feeling be the greater part of what propelled me forward. Just being stuck in my head trying to logically reason it all out wasn't doing much, at least not as much as I would have really liked. I needed a new approach to just life, in general.
I'd heard about meditation and decided to try it. I jumped in doing some prolonged and deep meditation...no training...just going for it. I didn't feel anything right away, but I kept at it. After awhile, I did notice a shift. The present came in more clear and it was more objective. My mind wasn't trying to label things as "good" or "bad," and I was feeling less and less the need to "keep score." The filter of which I was seeing life seemed to be more missing a certain level of judgment that I had previously been use to. I felt connected to something deeper beyond the physical. I thought to myself, "Hmm...this is pretty cool! Beyond this feeling, what else can I do with this?"
I delved deeply using inwardly focused thought, searching for growth opportunities, as I had done so many times in the past. Changing my search method, I also began an expedition focused on searching and understanding in the present moment with a more objective perspective. This "present" method ultimately led me to condensing all that I had observed, experienced, and learned with as unbiased, as unjudging, and as clear a lens as humanly possible.
My search evolved into what I now call The 10 Elements. While it brought me much personal awareness for my own benefit, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it outside of that. I shared it with my folks to get their feedback. My father, whose intelligence I've always respected, said the following after reading The 10 Elements, "If you find fire on top of the mountain, it's your responsibility to bring it down to share with the rest of us." While it sounded awfully familiar, like a cliche you hear in the movies, to my soul, his words rang true. So, I forged ahead with how I could share it with the rest of the world.
First, I needed to make it more readable for others, which I was able to do with my father's help from his years of writing in academia. Secondly, I needed a platform to share...nothing better than world wide web e.g. the internet, hence this website.
However, it felt like there was still more that I needed to do with The 10 Elements. With that, the thought of coaching came to the forefront of my mind, that, again, rang true to my soul. Unfortunately, at that time, I did not quite have the life experience, nor the skill set and knowledge beyond my understanding of The 10 Elements to help make a shift in people's lives.
Since that time, I've learned and experienced quite a bit, acquiring new and refining my existing skills and knowledge. This encompasses everything from psychology, to business, to growth hacking, to problem solving frameworks, to design thinking, to UX/CX design, and so much more, along with different tools to compliment all of those mentioned. So now, beyond allowing anyone to access The 10 Elements any time that is wanted or needed, I also offer my services as a Success Transformation Design Coach and Consultant.
The reason why The 10 Elements is such an integral part of FoUnd SoUL* is because it really helped guide me to find not just one FoUnd soUL* moment but many. It also helped me smooth out some of the rough edges and stressors of life. And, it was the launching pad that I really began to make some massive shifts, both inside and outside.
The 10 Elements are not a cure-all from painful and hard-earned wisdom, fortunately. I say fortunately because learning and experiencing the full spectrum of life (the good and the bad) is all a part of the journey. Also, the awareness and understanding I received from The 10 Elements is a very small sliver of a fraction of what I've learned throughout my lifetime.
Also, while I've been using The 10 Elements for some years now, I'm still learning a great deal every day. I don't have all answers, and I don't have it all figured out...not by a long shot. I'm still human. I still make mistakes. I still screw up.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way:
